Captain: Neil Steenkamp
Captain Neil grew up in a little coastal town on the very Northeast coast of South Africa called Richards Bay. He is a very keen fisherman, surfer, diver and happiest when paddling on his fishing ski at the most remote locations. He loves anything related to the ocean.
Neil worked as an activity Center Manager (Fishing guide & divemaster) on Inhaca and Bazaruto Islands in Mozambique for 3 years. Thereafter he pursued a career in Shipping where he worked his way up to Assistant Manager at Sturrock Grindrod Maritime. With Neil’s active, fun and approachable character we ensure that he will make your trip unforgettable.
First Mate: Caleb Johnson
Caleb, originally from The Bahamas, grew up on boats and was around the water his whole life. He has extensive experience working on Bahamas based yachts, so he is your go to guy with questions about the area and islands you are exploring.
His interests and hobbies include cars, farming, and heavy equipment. Caleb enjoys meeting new people and giving charter guests an unforgettable experience that they will remember for a lifetime.
Chef / Stewardess: Petro Steenkamp
Petro grew up in a little coastal town on the very Northeast coast of South Africa called Richards Bay. From surfing to diving, she loves anything related to the ocean.
Petro worked as a primary school teacher and hockey coach before pursuing her dream to travel the world. She loves to explore new places and learning about other cultures. Petro loves working on yachts because she feels most at peace around the ocean, loves traveling, thrilling adventures and never the same day twice! She is an amazing barista!
