Pearl was born and raised for most of her life in Lagos , Nigeria. Growing up in an African household preparing family dinners with her mom and sister was the norm. In her free time she would also help out at her mom’s breakfast café over the summer. Naturally, cooking became a part of her , not only for survival , but as an art form. She moved to Paris at the age of 18. There ,she discovered her love for being creative with dishes and hosting . She often had her friends over for meals, especially brunch. She spent the 3 months of the Covid lockdown curating a food blog on instagram: @breakfastatpearls where she combined her love for food and photography. Little did she know this hobby would turn into a career cooking in luxury estates and yachts.
She started yachting after her final year of university where she had been known around campus for the small brunch business she had started. After her first year of yachting she decided to fine tune her craft by attending one of the best culinary schools in the country : Ecole Ducasse. She followed it by an intensive 3 months working in the luxurious Chateau de la Croix des Gardes located in Cannes,France. With a new set of French cooking techniques and more confidence under her belt Pearl has been able to combine her thirst for adventure and travel with her passion for cooking and art.
