Captain: Nicholas Bunting

Nicholas’ passion for the sea has been a driving force for the choice of his professional path since the early years. Having acquired rich experience on both sailing and motor yachts, Nicholas is a highly qualified Captain who will provide guests with an unforgettable sailing experience while ensuring their safety and onboard comfort.

An avid PADI certified Dive Master and enthusiast of a variety of water sports, Nicholas will be thrilled to accommodate guests’ individual preferences in regard to water activities. His good-natured spirit and can-do attitude put guests at ease while his professionalism and ability to command a variety of situations instill confidence. Always striving to deliver the highest level of service to guests, Nicholas will be happy to whisk them off to the most picturesque hidden coves and enticing attractions during their five-star sailing gateway on board.

First Mate: Garin Fouche

Garin, a dedicated sailor from Knysna, South Africa, developed a deep connection with the ocean early in life, growing up in a family of sailors. At just nine years old, he crossed the Atlantic with his family during the Cape to Rio Race, sparking his lifelong love for the sea.

After years sailing around the Americas, Garin returned to South Africa, where he trained as a boat builder, crafting custom and production sailing catamarans. He also shared his love for the ocean by taking guests whale watching and sailing with a local day charter company—a path that soon became his full-time career.

Now, nine years into his superyachting journey, Garin remains as passionate as ever. The yachts may be larger, but his enthusiasm, curiosity, and love for life at sea are as strong as ever.

Chief Stewardess: EStephanie Polanek

Estefanie is from a small town in Aguascalientes, Mexico, but her adventurous spirit led her to explore beyond her roots. After earning a degree as a physical therapist, she pursued her passion for people and the water—something that began during summers at her family’s lake house in Indiana. She started her maritime career on a river cruise line and has since found the perfect way to combine her detail-oriented and creative nature with her love for the ocean and sandy beaches. She enjoys exploring the oceans and being part of a team, making this industry a perfect fit for her.

She looks forward to providing an unforgettable charter experience and making every guest’s time on board truly special.

Chef: Jade Deftereos

Jade is a passionate chef from sunny South Africa with a deep love for the ocean. Although she grew up in Johannesburg, she always dreamed of a life by the sea. In 2022, she entered the yachting industry as a stewardess but soon realized her true calling was in the galley.

Determined to pursue her passion for cooking, she completed short culinary courses in South Africa and Florida while refining her skills in her free time—treating those around her to delicious meals. Now, as a yacht chef, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality, wholesome dishes inspired by a variety of global cuisines.

Second Stewardess – Jenna Coetzee

Jenna is a friendly South African stewardess with a passion for delivering exceptional service & spreading smiles.

Before joining the yachting industry, Jenna worked for a Royal Golf Course, where she climbed her way from an entry level waitress to the floor manager and organizer of all internal events! In her free time, she loves to stay active, play golf and walk along the beach.

Deckhand – Reece Naude

Reece Naude is a dedicated and enthusiastic deckhand with a lifelong passion for the ocean. Before he joined the yachting industry, Reece worked on deep-sea fishing boats in his hometown in South Africa.

Reece enjoys playing guitar, DJ’ing, fishing and staying connected to the marine environment in any way possible such as bodyboarding where he represented South Africa.
